The length of time for the expiration date or "best used before" date depends on the type of product, as well as the brand.

Named after its distinctive 'boo-book' call, the Southern Boobook has four subspecies, two of which are now extinct due to habitat loss. This small owl, with its chocolate brown plumage and bright yellow eyes, is found throughout mainland Australia and Tasmania. Southern Boobooks inhabit open forest and woodland, as well as tree-dotted farmland.
