From Hive to Healing™
In the small town of Masterton, New Zealand the First Honey team have dedicated themselves to providing the highest quality honey harvested from the powerful nectar of the native Manuka flower.
With innovation and research their global team of chemists have uncovered the unique nourishing benefits found within Manuka honey.
Through these discoveries First Honey® was born. Created for the moments in everyday life when you need safe and effective care for the ones you love.
Clean the affected area. Apply ointment directly to wound. Cover with a sterile bandage.
Depending on wound type, the product may require a daily application. Re-apply as necessary.
ManukaMed® certified medical grade manuka honey from new zealand.
For medical emergencies seek professional help.
Do not use on patients with know sensitivity to honey. Minor stinging may be experienced due to osmotic action and/or the low pH of honey. This should be temporary, if pain persists, discontinue use of the dressing and gently irrigate the wound with sterile saline solution.
Although there is no record of increased blood sugar levels in patients with Diabetes due to the use of honey dressings, it is advisable to monitor the levels during use. Discontinue use after 30 days, and seek medical help if the wound has not healed.
