I like to make soups such as fish stews and chowders, and often use this as a base/broth. It gives the soups a nice flavor, and the taste is not overly "fishy" if that makes sense. One thing I really like about Bar Harbor products is that there are no strange additives, just basic ingredients. This is a good quality fish stock that I like to keep on hand in my pantry.

Delicious fish stock with clean ingredients. A lot of fish stocks will have lots of added ingredients, sugars, preservatives and so on, but this one does not which I really appreciate. I use this as a base for fish stew dishes such as cioppino.
