This Fran Wilson Pumice Sponge does a good job at softening calloused, rough skin on feet, hands or wherever. The pumice is not overly sharp so it won't easily abrade your skin and it leaves a smooth, even finish. The pumice grains wear down as you use the sponge, but are not so large as to clog the bathtub drain, which is a good place to use it. I lather some soap on the skin first. You might even find alternative uses for this "sanding sponge". I really like using the product and its a cheery pink color! The sponge is 4.95" x 2.2" x 1.55 " in dimension and wears down as you use it. A very effective way to smooth out those rough patches. Costs about $4.00, so it's not dirt cheap, but lasts quite a while. You could probably even clean your grout with it!
For Smooth Hands and Feet Professional Quality A softer, more gentle alternative to natural pumice stone: Unique, easy to use angled shape for hard to reach areas Effectively removes rough, dry skin and calluses Multi-use: hands, feet, heels, toes, elbows, knees, cuticles Acts as a gentler exfoliator when used with warm water
A friend ordered it, and I was intrigued and decided to try it too. It works SO well. I have tried all sorts of pumice stones and heel scrubbers, and this is the best. The texture is not too hard and not too soft, the quality is good (so far) and the size and angled surface is practical. I thought my heels would need professional attention, but this sorted them out in one shower! Smooth and crack free. This is super easy to use, gentle but effective, and washes clean easily.
