I make this tea in batch, 1 liter and store in fridge, i take 1 cup per day only. Helps me whenever a flu comes in or cough/colds, I get better after 2 days. Marshmallow leaf and root are used for pain and swelling (inflammation) of the mucous membranes that line the respiratory tract. They are also used for dry cough, inflammation of the lining of the stomach, diarrhea, stomach ulcers, constipation, urinary tract inflammation, and stones in the urinary tract. And i only buy USDA certified, many of tea nowadays are not organically grown and full of chemicals, nullifying all the tea benefits and give opposite effect on your health.
I have used Frontier Herbs for decades and find the quality reliable. I use marshmallow root for acid reflux and leaky gut. I make up a quart jar of water and 1/4 cup of marshmallow root and keep in the refrigerator to add to our daily smoothies. I strain it before adding 2 Tablespoons to each glass. I refill the glass jar for a week before I begin a new jar.
it's just a savior when is come to my acid reflux. I make a strong tea of it and steep it overnight. It taste slimy but very mild. I like the quality , the package's size is nice and big. I will be buying it again. I will recommend it as well.
This marshmallow root is great added to other herbs to make a throat-soothing tea. I found it decreased my seasonal allergy symptoms. You can buy the pills for marshmallow root, which I used a lot before, but it's great to take it in tea instead. It thickens the tea water slightly to juice-like consistency, which I like. It's a big package, so this will last you a while.
Excellent quality. I drink cold brewed tea for digestion & breathing. Helps with all mucus membranes. Any digestive disease will benefit from marshmallow root. Especially if paired with peppermint tea. Knocks out mucus & viruses in the digestive tract. That combo will resolve a diverticulitis flare up within a few days. Great use for stomach issues and has no caffeine! Good quality tea, good size package, fast shipping! Tastes pleasant on its own but better with honey. I recommend making a few cups and storing it in the fridge because you have to boil it for at least 20 min because it is a root.
