My all time favourite seed for digestion. The quality is top of the line. The smell of this herb is heavenly. Only one ingredient; nothing added. I learned through Ayurveda to steep cardamom seeds (along with other seeds) for optimal digestion. I use one tsp each or cardamom, fennel and coriander seeds and boil in sauce pan with 2 cups water. Then strain and enjoy. So calming and soothing.

Great cardamom seeds, the aroma and taste are spot on. We use it in soups and stews a lot. We are in HK and it's not easy to find this in supermarkets (except expensive kinds selling imported goods). It's a great buy if on sale. We will order this again!
I love having cardamom for baking (Swedish cardamom bread!) and for adding to freshly ground coffee and chai tea for brewing. I enjoy the convenience of grinding whole seeds and not having to peel the whole pods -- not quite so fresh as using whole pods but much simpler.
I was a bit hesitant before purchasing cardamom seeds because I was worried it wouldn't be fresh like the ones in the pods, but the product was very fresh and we can still see how the seeds are a bit sticky (which shows they are pretty fresh). I use it almost all the time. I add it in my masala chai rooibos tea, apple tart, curry, etc. I've purchased many different spices from Frontier Natural Products and I'm very satisfied with the quality.
