I read some research that in order to increase elastin for skin, the best source is collagen sourced from the skin of fish, which this product has. Elastin, together with collagen, is an important structural component of the skin’s extracellular matrix. I therefore chose this product and can tell that it makes a good difference not only for my skin elasticity and appearance but also joints. I seem to only need it once every two or three days since I already use other good collagen formulas. The only draw back is a fishy taste but I quickly learned how I administer and ingest it to avoid the smell. I do like the synergistic ingredients of Hyaluronic Acid and Astaxanthin as I believe this makes this formula effective. Because of the effectiveness I give it 5 stars despite the smell since the good effect outweighs the smell issue,

It seems to be very good, the only thing that might bother you a bit that it has a smell is a strong fishy flavor.
