  4. Remove water and sugar from heat.
  5. Submerge apple slices in water.
  6. Placed apple slices on two cookie sheets.
  7. Bake apple slices for about 60 minutes until edges begin to curl.
  8. Let cool and place in a plastic bag.

A dash of cinnamon makes a great addition to these chips.
